Tarás Bulba – Nikolái Vasílievich Gógol – 1834


Gógol, nació en Sorochintsky, Ucrania en 1809; murió en Moscú en 1852, era descendiente por la línea paterna de una familia de cosacos; estudió bachillerato en el liceo de Niezhin y fue funcionario público en San Petersburgo con un perfil muy bajo.

Gógol, es considerado como el fundador del realismo ruso e iniciador del movimiento literario en esa nación.
