📝El Músico Ciego – Vladímir Galactiónovich Korolenko – 1889

Korolenko nació en Shitomir (Ucrania), en 1853; murió en Poltova en 1921, sus estudiosos manifiestan que volcó toda su creatividad y conocimiento literario en pro de la gente materialmente desposeída. Fue un convencido acérrimo de la forma constitucionalista recibida de occidente; por sus ideas, padeció persecuciones y destierro en Siberia.

La obra de Korolenko se vio limitada debido al tiempo empleado en la lucha por los derechos de la población más humilde, sometida por el gobierno zarista.

El Músico Ciego es tenida como la mejor de todas sus obras y consensualmente ovacionada por la crítica especializada de su país.

La obra, es una fiel muestra de la descripción apasionada de los sentimientos arraigados en un ser nacido discapacitado, quien va paulatinamente encontrando su camino en la vida, en los diversos aspectos que se le van presentando, hasta que arriba el amor y le desborda todas sus emociones. Este relato es todo un poema bien escrito, sin caer en edulcoraciones innecesarias o sentimentalismos improbables. Grandemente recomendada a todo público.
